Contacts for low-voltage application

GLESI has been engaged in the research and development of contacts for low-voltage application since the middle of 1950s and started to make industrialized production at the end of 1980s.

Full automatic extrusion machine imported from Germany and various advanced special equipment self-developed form the Ag-based contact production line with the annual capability of over than 100 tons. GLESI is the first manufacturer in China using superhigh-pressure water atomization know-how for powder manufacturing. With the strong support of new technologies, a new breakthrough in the product property and quality has been achieved. The

new-type contact materials for aeronautic and astronautic use and the contact materials for industrial and civil use produced on this production line are high-ranking products in the electrical industry of China .
Main products include the following Ag-based materials: pure Ag, fine grain Ag, AgNi, AgCdO, AgSnO2, AgSnO2 In2O3, AgZnO, AgC, AgWC, AgW and AgNiC etc.

The product forms for delivery include wires, tips and rivets.
The annual capability is over 100 tons.

Contacts for medium- and high-voltage application

GLESI is the R & D base of China for contacts for medium- and high-voltage application. GLESI started to study the contact materials for vacuum switches in 1970s, introduced the know-how and production line for manufacturing CuCr contacts from Germany in 1985, and imported the self-consuming vacuum arc melting furnace in 1995 in order

to develop high-performance CuCr series contact materials by vacuum arc melting (VAM) method . CuCr50 contact development has been listed as a project in the State Torch Program. The CuCrTe contact for vacuum contactor has been evaluated as the State-class new product. Main products include the following contacts: infiltrated CuCr50, VAM CuCr45, VAM CuCr25, sintered CuCr25, WCu10, WCu30Tel, WCu17Tel, CuW80/CrCu, CuW70/CrCu, CuW60/CrCu and CuW80/Fe etc. The annual capability is over 500,000 pieces.

Magnetic material products

GLESI has been engaged in the research and development of AlNiCo permanent magnet materials for nearly 40 years. The product quality is in the leading position of China. It has been applied in the fields of astronautics, aeronautics, naval ships, weapons, electronic equipment, motors, apparatus and instruments, and magnetic devices, etc. AlNiCo permanent magnet materials of high performance can be supplied according to the State standard and the State military standard. GLESI can do the research and development on products with special requirements.

Electrical plastic products

GLESI has been doing the research and development of electrical plastics since the beginning of 1980s, and has successfully transferred the research achievements gained over years into mass production. GLESI is now a production base of China for high-performance electrical plastics, with annual production capability up to 2000 tons. These electrical plastic products have very good properties, stable quality, and high technical level leading in the field of China. Part of the products gained the security certification according to UL of

the USA. They are widely used in low-voltage equipments, switches, household appliances, motor components, control devices, and military connectors, etc. The main performances of the series products of dry-type unsaturated polyester molded plastics have reached the international advanced level, and 7 types of the series filled the blanks of China in the field.Main products include dry-type unsaturated polyester molded plastics UP-100 series, modified heat-resistant polyester molded plastics PT-310 series, melamine polyester molded plastics MU-100 series, modified creepage-resistant polyester molded plastics PT-610 series, epoxy molded plastics, silicone molded plastics and special molded plastics PT-201 for electrical engineering, etc.

Iunslation varnishes and antifriction bars

GLESI has been engaged in the development and production of insulation varnishes since many many years ago, now has annual production capability up to 300 tons. The quality of the insulation varnish products is stable, the varnish films dry quickly and the technological properties of the products are good. The insulation varnishes are

mainly used for motors of Grade B and F, and for impregnating insulation treatment of equipment windings. The antifriction composite material developed by GLESI specially used for the guide rails of BOPP production line hasvery good heat resistance, wear resistance and flame resistance. Its friction loss is very small. And it can be machined by turning, milling or sawing according to specific requirement. Main products include melamine/alkyd impregnating varnish (1032 varnish), quick curing polyester varnish (1040 varnish), epoxy non-solvent impregnating varnish (F1133 varnish), and antifriction wear-resistant material for guide rails, etc.
