Dies and Moulds

National Technical Standardization Committee for Dies and Moulds (SAC/TC 33) was founded in 1983, directly under the National Standardization Management Committee.
Introduction
The main tasks include: systematic research and planning of national and industrial standards for dies and moulds, evaluation and recommendation of standardization projects, organization and coordination of standard formulation and revision work, review and application of standard content and format, standard promotion and consulting services. Meanwhile, it is responsible for the domestic work of the International Organization for Standardization ISO/TC 29/SC 8 (tools for pressing and moulding).
The secretariat is on the GLESI premises, with 68 members currently.
Major responsibilities:
1. Systematic research and planning of national and industrial standards for molds
2. Evaluation and application of standardization projects
3. Organization and coordination of standard formulation and revision
4. Review and approval of standard content and format
5. Standard promotion and consulting services
6. Domestic counterpart of the International Organization for Standardization ISO /TC 29 /SC 8 (tools for pressing and moulding).
